KJB121
Hi, Picked up my dream car last Saturday - Audit TT TDi S Line, absolutely love it, but this morning after short 15 min run to work the fan continued to run for a period of time - is this normal?? James
Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that can be normal. Did you keep an eye on the temperature at all and did you have the aircon/climate running? Car sounds lovely by the way you should post some photos up when you get a minute :)
daycartes
Definitely OK. This is a regeneration (regen). You will notice, when this happens, that there is a lot of heat being emitted from under the car. It's perfectly safe and I believe it is caused by the 'soot' being burned off at a really high temperature. It can happen at any time, my first time it happened at Dover just before I was to get on the ferry after I had travelled 400 miles.

daycartes
Yes, James. It's caught a lot of people out, including myself. They don't always explain it when you buy the car! I have noticed over time that the DPF regeneration happens less and less.
