  1. Hi, thanks for the add. John from Edinburgh, recently purchased a 2020 A3 30 tfsi technic. Looking forward to learning about the car, I do pretty much all my own maintenance, so will be researching how to posts and adding any info I learn on my journey as an Audi owner 😀
  2. New member signing in 🙂 had my A3 a couple of months. Its a 2012, 8v which replaced my A3 8p. So far im loving the car, im trying to get it up to a decent standard ...
  3. Hello everyone, had a little peruse of your forums prior to joining. Looks like there's a great bunch of peeps here so pulled the trigger and signed up. The B9 S5 I currently own is my first Audi, coming from a long list of previous BMW's. I'm still learning about this car (and Audi in general) so will not have much knowledge to share initally, but will get there with it. Hopefully be able to contribute some useful information in the future.
  4. Hi you should never put a kink in any part of the washer pipe as this will cause all sorts of problems the pipes are routed with gentle bends and you will never lose pressure because both circuits from the pump have anti drain-back valves so when the pump is not being used the valves shut to maintain the pressure, example, last summer one of my cab colleagues could only get his washers to work at the front with the bonnet up, turns out he had replaced all the feed tubes with silicone hoses but forgotten to do each section against the old pipe so the one that went to the tank was about 10mm to short and kinked when he closed the bonnet, thats how critical it is.
