Premium Member announcement! - Halfords Discount
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Halfords has made the decision to slightly reduce the discount level they have been generously passing onto the members for many years.
From 1st January 2023 until 31st January 2023 the discount has now been reduced to 10%.
As from the 1st February 2023, the discount will then decrease to 8% for the foreseeable future.
Existing Halfords Wallet cards will still work after the 1st of January 2023.
This offer will still apply to in-store purchases only (T&Cs apply)
Although Halfords has reduced their discount, we are striving to lower your motoring costs by providing discounts through your Premium membership.
Take a look at the current discount providers that we currently have on-board and see if there are any deals that could save you money!

Draper Tools was started in 1919 when the founder, Bert Draper, sold government surplus and tools in markets around the Kingston Upon Thames area. This led to the purchase of the original warehouse, from which the Draper Tool Company Limited as we know it today was born, although at this time it was known as B. Draper & Son Limited and owned the trademark B.D.S. Although Draper Tools sold its own brand as early as this time, it was also a quality Engineers Merchant and Tool Wholesaler, selling brands that are well known today, such as, Britool, King D**k, Elliott Lucas, etc.
Draper Tools are offering club members an exclusive 10% off the whole Draper range (Via the FFX website) when using the discount code (visible to gold members only)
FFX offer FREE next day delivery when ordering tools up until 8pm.
This offer is for Draper tools only. The discount code will not be valid for any other product.

Interesting to see Audi test their camouflage test mules up the Grossglockner pass pulling trailers which i can only assume is testing equipment.

10% MEMBER DISCOUNT ON ALA FIVE STAR GAP INSURANCE
GAP Insurance covers the shortfall between what you paid for your vehicle and the insurance pay out should you be unfortunate enough to make a total loss claim. If your vehicle is stolen, involved in an accident or damaged by fire or floods and your insurance company declares it a write off, they will settle at the value of the vehicle at the time, this can leave you out of pocket by thousands of pounds. A brand new car can lose up to 70% of its value in the first three years alone, while a second-hand car can lose as much as 20% in the first six months, giving you an idea of the financial impact a write off could have.

Hi
welcome to the club
It might sound obvious but did you check interior lights, including rear? (once my daughter was messing with rear interior light and left it on overnight)
Check the battery connection is tightened, best some sometimes remove, clean up and retighten the connectors back on.
If this does it again then you have the battery tested, this can be done at any garage or Halfords. No need to go to Audi for this, too pricey!
Batteries to fade over time and this may be a knackered.

a shot in the dark maybe that their is an air leak between the maf sensor and the engine.
So maybe with the air leak then too much air getting in to the engine to what the MAF sensor is letting on.
Total shot in the dark but worth checking the intake for leaks, splits or gaps.
The only thing i can imagine that would not give an error code.

Considering An Audi Japanese Import
in Audi A1 Club
Posted
Japanese cars are usually better condition in comparison, their roads are amazing and clean, they don't salt their roads so usually underneath is spot on.
You just need to make sure the agent in japan knows his beans when it comes to an auction purchase.
I have had many a jap import of Japanese cars but cannot see it being much different for other brands too.
Best bet is to get the VIN number and do a carVX report, this will show you the auction hisotry and their inspections, bit like MOT history. Cheap and well worth doing.
