  1. Right. Audi have contacted me to tell me that my steering rack problem has nothing to do with the emissions update. I know that it is, I have been told by a friends relative, who works for TWS that they know about this and it is far from the only time this has happened. A 4 year old A6 needs a new steering rack? Really? My question is this: How are Audi getting away with this? They have wrecked my vehicle with an update, further they know and I know it, yet they are denying it. A prestige car manufacturer treating their customers this way is scandalous, why is nothing being done to bring them to heel?
  2. Thanks Steve Wolverhampton Audi have run the diagnostic and said it requires a new steering rack £2.5 half thousand. I am taking it somewhere else for a 2nd opinion as I don't trust them one bit. When asked if a steering rack should fail on a four year old car they said "well, you might have driven over something"
  3. Hi guys Newbie here. I had the emissions done some months ago on my 2013 A6, after which not only was I getting regen kicking in more often, but occasionally the 'do not drive, steering defective' red warning light, with stiff steering, this would only last a few seconds tho The light is on continuously now however, have tried the full lock fix with no luck Looking at replacing my card this year and am seriously considering another dealer
