  1. Thanks for your reply Based upon that I had another look at it this morning and discovered that there is a platic "U" channel which is bonded to the roof. Stripped the lining from the channel, glued the channel back (not a lot of space to hold the channel whilst the adhesive dries), and now giving it until tommorrow to refit the lining into the channel. All in all well pleased. Again thanks for your guidance Phil
  2. Thanks Cliff, I have pretty much decided to wait until lockdown is over and then find a car trimmer.
  3. Very limited space to gain access, roof up or down does not change this, might try and remove the rear seat backrest to gain more space and double sided tape may be the answer. Problem is that I am not sure how long the tape would do its job. Might try contacting Audi to see what they have to say. I do thank you for you interest and advice.
  4. Its come away at the edges where there seems to be plastic edging
  5. Hi Have a 61 plate A3 cabriolet with a roof lining issue. The lining at the rear of the roof (possiblly call it above the "parcel shelf") has come away. It does not seem to be clipped and I cannot see how to re-attach it !!. Have any member experienced this and how remedied ?. many thanks

I have a 2012 a3 1.2TFSI convertible which has scored discs. These I am looking to replace but I am having some difficuly working out from the attached pic the codes for the discs. I think one of them is 1KD for the rear, but the other ?. Can anyone locate the correct code please:
  8. I looked to see if there were any clips etc. 9probably the same as you)...........to no avail which is why I ended up using the double sided tape. if you do get an answer from an Audi tech I would be very interested in the answer
  9. Hi there I had the same problem, and nowhere could I find any useful information. In the end I used double sided tape which seemed to work OK.
  10. Thanks Graham I live in West End so Easteigh would be the nearest, hopefully they can pinpoint why the car is in limp mode. Ane then I think i will look into buying scanning kit as the way the car seems to be controlled only a scanner will highlight fault. Many thanks for your response Phil
  11. Apart from Audi in Chandlers Ford, does anyone know of a garage in southamptom whow ca scan. many thanks Phil
  12. Hi all Have just purchesed a 1.2 tfsi sline A3cabriolet and have just noticed that the rear demister does not seem to work. The light on the dash lights up so I assume that fuse is OK. I Do not have a handbook at present so I have no information about fuses, relays etc. 1. Where is the relay and exactly and where does the power connect to the rear window 2. Also have roof lining sagging directly above the rear window and I cannot see how to re-attach as there just seem s to be 2 flat surfaces. Thanks in anticipation Phil
