Hiya, welcome to the forum and club

I would guess at maybe the fuel pump starting to go or fuel filter perhaps, but thats just a hunch.

Hi Kay, welcome along. Dont forget to post some pics of the new motor.
I do love those little A1's, very smart

Hi, welcome to the forum

I bet the clutch is cable operated and not hydraulic. for the sake of a cheap cable i'd be inclined to try replacing that first.

Been looking at a few OEM kits for sale on eBay but unsure if they will need to be dealer coded afterwards.

Guys, remaps are great but are not transferable from car to car.
Why not use a plug in tuning box?
I have used 5 tuning boxes from Diesel Tuning UK on various cars and trucks. I've just sent my box back to them to have the software updated and flashed so I can use it on the Q7. I also get a new harness too. I've used the same box on three cars now, all for one original price plus a small charge for the software and new harness.
Check out www.diesel-performance.co.uk
The pedal boxes are also a very good compliment to the tuning box. The pedal boxes can be adjusted to suit your preferred feel and either for economy or sport.
These boxes give large increases in bhp but more importantly on a diesel, torque.

Hi, the wheel PCD is correct. What size tyres are fitted??
-
It sounds like you need to fit resistors across the LEDs. The bulb warning system sees the led bulb as an open circuit and the resistor across the lamp corrects this.

I'd use either Autosol or Autoglym Metal polish

Hi Gavin, welcome to the forum

Hi and Welcome. 10k should get you a decent spec A4. the 2.0tdi's are fairly bullet proof

Hi, page 24 of the pdf attached explains more!

Hi Steph, welcome aboard.
Dont forget to post some pics when you pick the car up.

Actually, scrap what I wrote above. Read somewhere that the Q7 charging system is calibrated to the battery size and when replacing the battery it has to be diagnostically checked after fitting the new one to ensure correct operation due to the regenerative braking function.

Nice car Steve. You might want to obscure your reg plate to stop vehicle cloning etc.
Best cabriolet on the road today, proper 4 seater

Drove the Q7 in the snow yesterday, it's crap compared to my Nissan Navara.
I think the tyre choice on the 21" rims is the main problem.
The brakes lock up so easily the pedal is like a hair trigger.
Might put the standard 20" wheels back on to see what they are like.

My DVD isnt in the boot its in the dash. What age is your Q7?

Hi and Welcome to the forum.
I personally would fit the battery myself if it was my car but for what halfords charge its got to be cheaper than the main stealer.
Alternatively a lot of tyre and exhaust places swap batteries. I believe the RAC and AA also do the same.
One thing i would be looking it is the guarantee you get with the battery.
Hi all, just bought my first Audi
