  1. Just thought I'd give thanks for the replies to my issue(s). If you haven't joined the facebook page, I'd highly recommend it. Without the advice from here and FB, I wouldn't have even thought about putting two and two together, ringing Audi and getting my car booked in, for a diagnostic check, free of charge, with a courtesy car. Swines aren't they for trying to keep these issues quiet.
  2. Hi all. Nearly a year ago, i received an emissions letter from Audi, saying my 2011 Q5 needed a free test or something. I can't quite remmeber, but they collected it, sent me a video via email of them working on the car etc, and I think they topped it up with Adblue. Anyway within a month the engine management light came on, but I didn't have any performance issues like most have experienced. Got one of those readers off ebay, it threw a code up and it related to the nox sensors or something. I read a forum and someone said the adblue needing filling up. So i bought a huge carton of it. It nearly took the lot. 50 miles later, the light goes out. Then it returns. I fill it with more adblue. Not as much. I knocked the light off using the reader I bought. It has returned twice since. Since november 2016, I have done about 4000 miles in the car, I hardly use it, which is why it has taken me ages to finally google it after the latest light rears it head again. And it got me thinking, this light has only started since Audi took it in for the emissions test they did. Since they looked at the car, I've probably done about 3000 miles in it in 11 months. The only thing I've noticed since I had it back, is that it sometimes takes an age for the fans to stop when the car has been turned off. Sometimes after five minutes, I've gone back outside to double check I've not actually left it running. Do you think I'm wasting my time going back to Audi to see if it's something to do with this update? Or shall I just keep knocking the light off and get it remapped? Any advice is welcome! Thanks in advance
