  1. this is the right side, according to the legend on the cover positions 3 and 4 should have the fuses in, they're empty, but it beeps like a good 'in so they must be elsewhere?
  2. Hi, had a look and from what I can make out there should be fuses in positions 3 and 4 for the parking sensors but as you can see they are empty ( like my head?) (( or bank balance with this sodding car??)) Any further ideas??
  3. Hi all, can anyone tell me where the fuses are located for the front and rear parking sensors please? My 2008 2.0tdi C6 Avant has the most paranoid parking sensors I have ever encountered! it beeps it's nuts off at cars passing the on the other side of the road and if I am in a pretty tight car park the incessant racket is enough to bring a sweat on! I've been driving for thirty years and never once bumped anything whilst manoeuvring so I am quite happy to remove the fuses once I discover where they are! Many thanks!
  4. Thanks Steve Q, The car had a brand new EGR valve 12 months ago, so that should be good for a while yet, car has full audi service history and runs very well, its a good strong engine, just underpowered, from what i have seen so far the general figures have been BHP up to 180 and Torque up to 400Nm prices are also around the same at £250 mark. Seems like a fair price to me, anyone in the north west anyone could recommend? i dont mind paying a bit more if they are reliable and have agood reputation. Cheers Andy
  5. Hi, my new ( to me ) A6 C6 2.0 tdi 140 with the 7 speed auto box generally drives lovely, but if I need to clog it to get past a dawdler it seems to just make more noise but not accelerate particularly quickly, doesn't matter if just in drive or in semi manual or sports mode, it seems pretty slow. If I back off the gas to about half throttle it picks up like its over fueling on full throttle? I've seen places offer remaps for £250 all in and quote about 40 horses and 80nm increase, anyone with any experience of these claims? is it worth going down the EGR and DPF delete route also? Sorry for all the questions!!
  6. I would assume they are Halogen, I'm looking for members suggestions on replacement bulbs, brightness and cost, i'm not tight but can't push to £40 + per bulb I was thinking a tenner a lamp tbh. Thanks very much for the vid on changing bulbs, I wish i'd had this for the old Toyota!
  7. Hi, first ever post, first ever Audi! I picked up a 2008 A6 C6 2.0 tdi Avant recently and I'm very happy with the car coming from Toyota Avensis for last ten years. My main question is do any of you lovely people have a personal favourite dipped beam headlight bulbs? It looks about as difficult to change as the Avensis bulbs and unfortunately I have adult size hands and not Japanese school girls hands and room looks a bit thrifty in that area. Any tips on changing them while I'm in there would be massively appreciated too! Many thanks Andy
