  1. Slow engaging of gears in A4 auto

    Hi All, New to the forum so looking forward to speaking to you all, i have a 2015 a4 2.0 tdi (150) with an auto gear box, love the car but have a real issue with the time it takes to engage reverse gear and 1st but it is not as bad. I have been to my audi dealer on multiple occasions the car went through a stage of stalling when changing from reverse to 1st if not totally stopped and on flat ground. They updated software and this seems to have fixed it. However they say there isn't nothing wrong with the box just the way it is something to do with it having cones rather than gears? Any ideas if this can be improved? thanks Andy
