I have been serching far and wide BDV engines are just falling from. The sky but BDW engines are rocking horse !Removed!. I have been told that my block has a hole in and a block from a BDV coded engine are the same so just need to find out if that's true if so I can buy a BDV engine and with the parts from mine make it a BDW

Hi all need help with my A6 2005 the day I got it the timing chain snapped and punched a hole in the block don't want to scrap the car as its in mint condition need help asap

Hi all I have just joined this forum I got myself an audi A6 2.4 V6 2005 but the day I got it the timing chain snapped and has punched a hole in the block. I have been searching for a replacement engine but they are like gold dust. The engine code is BDW I'm trying to find out if I can convert a BDV engine lto fit any help will be greatly appreciated -
