Fingers

Hi. My rear view mirror has fallen off the windscreen. Bond just given up. Having a hell of a job finding anyone who is can stick it back on. Audi dealership say they don't do glass and i have to go through my insurance company to replace the whole windscreen as they come with the adhesive on them! Sounds like a complete fob off! Anyway called autoglass just to sound them out and they won't touch it unless the windscreen itself is damaged! Called several windscreen garages as at least thought they'd have some advise but they won't touch it. Any advice? Could try to stick it back on myself but don't know what adhesive to use. Also unsure how to keep it in place whilst the adhesive cures due to weight (has rain and light sensors)?? Any help appreciated!!
