  1. Driver's electric window making a noise

    Hi there First time on the forum, despite owning the A4 estate for 7 years. Long story short, the driver's window made a funny noise as I pressed the button. It tried to go down, made a grinding noise and I thought best get it back up before it jams in the open position. The car is a 2003 but lightly used. Any tips? Can the repair kits on ebay be used? Should I stump up for new regulator. Advice greatly appreciated. Rich
