  1. Hi all, Live ignition feed from cabin fuse box - Audi A4 B6 Cabrio - Which fuse to piggy back? I am about to swap my broken Audi Sat Nav Plus double din unit for Pioneer Carplay unit. The suppliers of the installation kit say I may need to provide a new power feed controlled by ignition on. I read an installation guide on another forum & it suggested using fuse position 19 in dash end panel box. He showed how to use a piggy back fuse holder & lead to tap this fuse slot. Looked easy but, in my car, position 19 is empty & has no supply cable. Can anyone suggest a suitable fuse position to tap by referencing the photos below? Thanks in advance!
  2. Found it! Thanks for the information, especially the you tube video. Amp is a Blaupunct, (knew it wasn’t Bose). Now I have the part number! If disconnecting the amplifier makes the current drain dissapear, then I will source a second hand item. Can’t check that until tomorrow as I blew the fuse in my multi meter. Thanks again.
  3. I have spent a day trying to find this information on the web. Where do Audi put the amplifier for the radio in the B6 Cabriolet? It is a non Bose 2003 A4 B6 Cabrio. (N.B. It is the actual radio speaker amplifier, NOT the antenna amps in the boot lid) I have a parasitic drain in the radio circuit, Fuse 39. I pulled the radio head unit and the circuit still shows the drain so I now want to check the amplifier. I hope someone has done this and has the information on location. HELP please!
  4. Hi Gareth Many thanks for the time you spent creating a very considered reply, much appreciated. I will follow your suggestions and, hopefully, find someone to appreciate a car which I am sure will be a future classic. Thanks again!
  5. I am considering selling my October 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet 3.0 Petrol Multitronic and, before I decide, I am asking for help about the actual value. I can't use current advertised values for other cars they are all multi owner high mileage & do not compare, please see below: Details: I bought the car new, from Poole Audi at a cost of £35,375 and it was delivered on 17th October 2003. Since then, I have covered 42,000 miles. The car has been very well maintained, mostly at Audi main dealers. In 2017, it had 4 new Michelins and I had the CVT auto upgraded with new 7 plate internals, (box was working as it should but I wanted the security of the Audi modification). Cam belts etc all done by Abtech in Hampshire in 2010 since when, car has covered 15,000 miles. All paperwork from original bill of sale to present day so mileage and maintenance are all verifiable. Carribean Blue - Dark blue hood - Light beige Nappa leather - Sport pack - Multifunction sreering wheel, (gear change buttons on wheel) - Comfort pack - Sat nav plus - Heated seats - Cruise - etc, etc. Car will be available from mid-November, pm me for further details, photos etc. Thanks
  6. Do you have a particular year & model in mind?
