  1. Yeh I did that but wasnt thin enough and after trying to force it more it looks like it broke off, so a bit stuck now.
  2. Hi, Regarding my 2019 A7 55 TFSI. I had this strange issue when going to refil yesterday, the fuel nozzle went in fine, but the pump wasnt working so i took it out and tried another one, but the nozzle simply would not push in this time. Tried another petrol station too same issue. (googling this just comes up with some diesel pumps having petrol nozzles, but my car IS petrol!) I got home and had a look inside, it seemed that a metal ring that should be sat around the edge of the plastic door/valve part had popped off and was overlapping the valve itself so it wouldnt move/blocked the nozzle from going further. Its impossible to move it back to the right place due to plastic in the way, but i moved it as far as i could. I then used a plastic nozzle from the boot to see if it was better but still not, so I gave it a bit of a wiggle to see if the nozzle could correct the metal ring further but then the whole anti syphon valve seemed to come loose and fall inwards, i can get a nozzle in now but suspect it will cause me issues refilling being in the way still (not tried). I only have 10 miles of fuel left too. Just to be clear, the METAL door on the tank is fine. This is just the internal plastic valve that seems to have got stuck. Photos attached. Has anyone ever experienced this in any audi? Is removing the valve going to be an easy enough task?
  3. Hi all, I am a long time Audi lover but first time owner (in the next few weeks anyway). Currently have an Insignia and I like the hatchback saloons as its luxury and practical for a dog owner :) I have long wanted an A5, but saw a better spec but few years older for the same price are the S5's - which is great as long as it has been looked after. So the 3.0 S5 V6T from 2011/2012 (pre-facelift) is right on budget with a decent spec 3g+ mmi and b+o etc. However, I stumbled on a local 3.0 TFSI A7 from 2011 with only 30k on the clock, it will cost me less to buy, it is an SE model, but has basically every option added but with BOSE instead of B&O audio. So all in all it is a higher spec, lower price, lower mileage, same age, same engine. Is there anything less obvious to think about with the A7 over the S5? or vice versa? I am more in love with the S5 but I don't know why apart from the S just makes it sound more sporty when it isn't really.. any help, advice, or is the only real difference the interior design and the dimensions? (ignoring the options being different)
