  1. Hi Paul, many thanks for your welcome message which is appreciated. Yes, I will give the forum rules a quick view, although I very much doubt they'll differ very much from the XE Forum of which I was a member for three years and AVForums of which I have been a member for fifteen years. That said, there may be some minor differences and I shall read them. Glad to hear you love your A6 which I have always admired. Went for a good run today and thoroughly enjoyed driving my A4. Whilst I had my XE for three years and really liked it, I think the A4 is a better car all round with the sole exception being, in my humble opinion anyway, the exterior looks. 🙂 Martin.
  2. Hi Piotr, you certainly love your car, that's for sure. I have only had mine for a couple of weeks so far, love driving it and have no regrets whatsoever. Many thanks for your welcome to the forum, much appreciated. 🙂 Martin.
  3. Hi Graham, many thanks for the welcome. Although in recent years we have not had a lot of snow, last year did produce some heavy stuff a few times during which I didn't even try to move my XE being rear wheel drive, we just used my wife's Mini Cooper which, whilst not the best, got us where we wanted to go most of the time. I have no doubt my current A4 Quattro would have been the answer so I must admit to looking forward to a bit of snow this winter. Thanks again for the welcome. 👍 Martin.
  4. Hi, I traded in my last 2.0 Ltr TDi A4 for a new Jaguar XE just over three years and now, wanting a change, have traded that in against an eight month old 2.0 TFSi S-Line Quattro A4. I have to say I enjoyed my XE but decided to come back to the Audi camp as I have actually had two in the past and really liked them, so why not? Some might ask why petrol? Simple answer, diesel is becoming a bit of a swear word these days and, whilst it definitely offers better MPG, I don't really do enough miles nowadays to worry about that too much. I look forward to some happy miles ahead. Martin.
