I have a 2006 A4 B7 1.9 tdi, the EGR cooler is shot leaking very badly, I have disconnected the electrics to the valve and looped the coolant pipes, the car runs and ticks ove fine, would it be advisable to take small journeys (eg 10 miles each way to work and back) until I can get a replacement cooler. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
