  1. Thanks for the you tube clip, i think Clarksons wrong though Audi is best👍(i might be a bit biased!!) I was sitting in Sainsbury's car park this morning, sent the other half in to get the essentials and i was playing about with my stereo realised it said symphony and then i remembered you mentioned about the facelift after 2001 having the 6 disc changer, so i pressed the load button and low and behold it has one!! Doh! 🙄 but i blame Audi as the Volvo had it written on the stereo itself 😏 Anyway here's some more pics, oh and how do you like my number plate?!! seats are still a bit grubby as i haven't been to get out and clean them yet😏 would like to get to some shows hopefully when this Covid-19 virus has run out of steam regards Angie
  2. wow its a credit to you and your dad,its in great condition,it doesn't look like its done 330k+, like the colour too its a bit like a gun metal and your driver information screen is good too, mine gets a little bit faded around the edges when i've been in it a long time. mine is a 2.4 SE V6 (i like that bit😁) cvt, its just coming up to 111000k low mileage, but my last one😭 was even lower at 89,000, i shall look into the stereo so hopefully i can change it. i will take some more pics tomorrow and post them. regards Angie
  3. Thanks It's an SE with cream leather interior, heated seats, parking sensors, climate control,it doesn't have the uprated stereo like my last one with the disc changer in the boot but it actually sounds better 🙂 I've never seen my colour before its aqua pearl apparently, they always seem to be silver or green like my last one. What colour is yours? Do you have lots of toys Happy Easter Regards Angie
  4. Hi Steve, i'm glad yours was repaired, can't believe the volvo was written off😲, mine had to much damage under the boot, assessor said if he'd hit her square on she might have been saved, but worst of all the Mokka only had a tiny scuff!! Heres some pics of my new one thats my husbands bum! 🤣he's just finished polishing her I'm very happy, hopefully i'll have this one a lot longer! regards Angie
  5. Hi,Guys and Girls, A year ago i had to say good bye😭 to my beautiful 2001 A6 C5, I heard a big bang from my living room looked out side to find my neighbours Vauxhall Mokka at the rear of my car, went out and saw the damage he had done came back in and cried (for a long time!) his excuse was he was putting air in his tyres and had to move it so the valves were at the top, he said he was in it when he did it (its an auto) but i later found out from another neighbour who witnessed what happened, he was standing next to it and then put into reverse nearly running him over in the process,i couldn't believe his stupidity. As you can probably tell i'm still upset about it😭, But i now Have another C5 so thats easing the pain somewhat but it took me 9 months to find it. I had a Volvo S60 2.4 D5 with 205000 miles in between but it didn't hold a candle to my Audi, on a lighter note, i've told my neighbour if he goes within 50ft of my new one he'll end up with a very high pitched voice!!😁 thanks for reading😉
  6. Thanks Steve thought i'd let you know she flew through her MOT!!😃 But i do have to get an ABS sensor replaced😞 Regards Angela
  7. Hi thanks for getting back to me, your probably right it could be something simple, its just as soon as i get a warning light come on i panic, especially if its something as important as brakes. I will let you know what happens but i've also got the MOT to deal with and whether or not it will play up for that as it will fail if its on. I really hate cars having all these sensors on them, in my limited experience its usually the sensors that go wrong and not the part or system its attached to !!! Kind regards Angela
  8. Thought i'd just say hi, i have an a6 c5 2.4l v6 I like that last bit! have had it nearly a year and am loving it so far ( depends what happens at the mot next week!!) well she is coming up to 18 years old but she does only have 88500 on the clock. Anyway just thought i'd say hi.
  9. HI, hope someone can help, just recently my A6 has sometimes, when starting from cold the ABS and brake warning light come on (not always) i have driven the car because i've had no choice, but then when i've restarted the car they don't come back on, obviously this is a bit scary as it my brakes and looking around some websites i can only find out about if it they stay on all the time, i was wondering if anyone could help as some of the suggestions sound very expensive!
