  1. Hi all hoping someone knowledgeable can help, I have been having problems with the fan in a 2011 A4. Initially it died completely, no air coming into the car and with the weather getting cold and I decided to investigate myself. When I removed the fan blower motor it was pretty grubby so I thoroughly cleaned and re-lubricated it and thought cant hurt to try it again. Lo and behold it started working again, I also removed and cleaned the blower resistor at the same time. It worked great for about 2 months but died again yesterday, strangely it seems intermittent it just comes on at random when im driving. I'm sure its either the fan blower motor or the blower resistor (suspect fan) but as I cleaned them both at the same time and put them back in I cant be sure which is the culprit. I also checked all the wiring for loose connections or damage and everything looked good so I guess has anyone experienced this before? Thanks in Advance.
  2. They keep a digital service record for new cars but if you have a book that can be stamped cant hurt to take it! I also just found this for you it could be a cheaper option If your fist service is £229 and second could well be £350+ it could save you at least a £100 definite have a look. https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/service-plan.html
  3. Hi Rach Quite an interesting thread on the subject here probobly worth absorbing: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/s3-first-oil-change-cost.306947/ That said if your local dealer in Poole seems expensive phone a few futher away to get some quotes it can vary and that said your local dealer should price match. There is also nothing stopping you taking it to a Audi specialist garage this should also be a cheaper option. It is worth noting that should you go down this route not having the proper service stamps from an Audi dealer can impact resale value later on. Hope this helps, all the best!
