  1. Looking to sell my car; black with a red leather interior. De-chromed or all- black version. Potentially open to reasonable offers.
  2. Thanks Steve
  3. Hi, I have a 56 plate Audi A4 convertible which doesn’t get run as often as it should so I was looking at having a solar panel connected to either the cigarette lighter or the 12v port in the boot. Both sockets seem to be live when I plug in the tyre inflator even without the ignition key being in. What I don’t know is if this will charge or drain the battery? Any thoughts welcome
  4. Hi, I need to replace this very tired panel (2007 S5) but have seen many conflicting videos online that aren’t my car or manual, can anyone point me in the right direction. Many thanks Steve

  6. Ok found out what is wrong. The cam that lifts the hinge had popped out but with my continued attempts to resolve the problem with the button I ended up shearing the bracket that anchors the motor to the body. Looks like £3.25 for a new bracket so hopefully soon mended. I’ll get the guys to also set my desired height using VCDS. Thanks for all the suggestions.
  7. Update Tried the manual push and press the button in to get the lights to flash. Have made things infinitely worse now; when I press the button on the key the tailgate opens about an inch and then shuts itself 😌 wish I’d just left well alone now!
  8. Hi there, thanks I tried that to no avail. Cheers
  9. Hi Gareth, thanks for your reply, it makes sense that if the struts were failing the tailgate would drop. I’ve had the car for 12 months so I’ve not had the battery put. I spoke to a local VW/Audi workshop and they confirmed that there may be a setting in VCDS that could be altered. Cheers. Steve
  10. Hi, the tailgate on my 2012 Q5 stops short and just at the right height to hit my head on; which I do repeatedly. I tried the trick of pushing it up to the required height and holding the close button until the lights flash but it doesn’t remember the setting. Does this mean I need to replace the hydraulic struts?

  12. Just bought a 2012 Q5 and can’t get a CD in, was going to check the fuse but it’s not where the book says it is? I can’t tell if there is a CD jammed in?
