This is a stunning example of the Audi 80 Cabriolet. This low-mileage car boasts a full leather interior, a full service history and an MOT valid until August 2019. The car has been exceptionally well looked after; the paintwork is immaculate for a car of this age, with only a few of the tiniest stone marks around the bonnet. It has always either been kept indoors or with a cover on to keep the red colour from fading. The roof is in good condition and is still fully watertight. This really is a beautiful little car which I’m sad to be selling. To make this an honest listing, I have to also detail here that the roof compartment lid doesn’t close properly - the sensor on the latch is not working. This does not mean that you cannot drive the car with the roof down, but simply that the compartment is not fully closed when you do so (see pictures as I took a photo of this). This, in turn, means that a light is flashing on the dash to warn that the compartment is open. In addition, the oil pressure light is on. I HAVE had this checked at a garage and the fault is not with the oil pressure; it’s the sensor that needs replacing. There are also a few small cracks in the leather seats, but only to be expected from a car of its age and there are no rips or tears (again, see pictures as I have photographed the cracked leather). Other than these small faults, the car is in fabulous condition. It is comfortable and smooth to drive and runs quietly and efficiently. All viewings and inspections of my car are welcome.
