  1. Hello again This is connected to my other post, but is a very specific issue I'm hoping to get an answer for. If anyone here has a Chorus 3 head in their circa-2009 Audi which has a factory-fitted iPod dock in the glovebox, have they tried fitting an adaptor to this (30-pin to Lightning 8-pin) in order to connect their newer iPhone to the system? If so, did it work? If so, how well eg: what radio/steering-wheel control did the Dock have, and has that changed using the Lightning? Many thanks.
  2. Hi all. Some elements of this topic have been covered a few times before on here, but I can't seem to find the specific info I'm after - I hope someone can help A friend has a 2009 A3 Sportsback (SE) with what I believe is the Chorus 3 (double-DIN) music unit. He noticed that the instruction booklet also covered - on some models - the use of an iPod dock which is located in the glovebox. His car doesn't have this, but he'd like to retro-fit one. My Qs, please: 1) Are the Chorus 3 units identical in both setups, the iPod and non-iPod versions? Ie - if he were to obtain just the cable, could it be fitted to his existing unit and work as it should? 2) The optional Audi 'dock' was a 30-pin jobbie for the - then - popular iPods, but if this was the only kind of original cable connector that could be easily fitted, would a 30-pin to 'Lightning' (8-pin) adaptor then allow him to use his iPhone with this? (I understand the adaptor would have to be a genuine Apple item as copies are unreliable in transferring audio). Would such a '30 to Light' adaptor allow any amount of control from the radio or steering wheel controls as, presumably, the docking/iPod terminal would? 3) As an alternative, is this too good to be true?! https://usb-nachruesten.de/en/bluet...achtraeglich-einbauen?number=usbn_bt.20&c=144 It says it maintains steering wheel control over the track selection, etc. Many thanks for any input.
  3. Hi. Does the Chorus music unit have an iPhone connector in the glovebox? If so, how much for that complete connector cable? Thanks.
