Good evening, I'm hoping that someone can guide me to the right purchase? I recently bought my wife a very nive but older A6, 2.0 tdi Avant. Full service history but no evidance of cambelt service. Its done 96k. The dealer has said this needs attention and his mechanic says he will bill me for his time only if i supply the kit. Been on many sites but its a minefield of brands and I'm lost He said you should probably change the water pump at the same time. On europarts I can find a cambelt kit for about £150 but not sure what water pump to get.
