Hi, I am looking at a little side project for some fun on a A4 avant manual, engine code BRE. The Turbo is faulty and gives me a perfect excuse to upgrade it.
The 2.0TDI has about 170 BHP standard and the uprated turbos i can source give its ROUGHLY: stage one upto 220+, stage 2 upto 240+ and a stage 3 260+.
I know a remap will be standard but for now Im not looking to go mad and change the fly wheel, fuel injection stystem etc.
So without going over kill, can I put a stage 2 turbo, bigger intercooler with a remap on its own?
I obviously dont want to kill the engine or box so need some advise as to the best solution.
Please can anyone advise me on a good working solution????
