Hi thanks for your reply would it going into limp mode not bring a light up on the dash . That as happened before on other vw audi cars i have owned and it brought up the yellow engine symbol or the flashing glow plug light

Hi all i wonder if anyone can offer any advice regarding an issue i have with my 2017 a6 avant . I took it on a long trip at the weekend from Manchester to Portsmouth 247 miles the car did not miss a beat on the way there but it was a different story on the way back . 120 miles into my return journey i lost all acceleration i tried to overtake a middle lane hogger put my foot down and nothing foot to the floor and going nowhere fast . it is a manual car so i ended up using the gears just to keep going the slightest gradient on the motorway and i was having to drop gears to get up them . 120 odd miles later i finally got home turned the car off . About an hour later i took it out and all was back to normal . Whilst all this was going on there was never any warning lights on the dashboard i scanned it for codes but no issues found . Any help would really be appreciated . I have only had the car 3 weeks and this is taking the fun out of it

Yes you can do it will allow you to lift the lid higher also hoover out the box there will be leaves and dust in there

Extremely easy if you can undo 4 to 6 screws . locate big black box undo the screws surrounding the top remove top remove old filter replace new filter tighten screws job done ten mins max
