Hi there, Our beloved Audi has been off road for a couple of years now and we haven’t had the time resources to focus on repairing it. It is not in a good way - rainwater has leaked into the interior. We replaced battery because it went flat - did this twice in succession with new batteries and same outcome therefore the battery is not likely the issue. Mechanic said there is some head gasket damage. It really is looking like the scrap heap for dear old Wolfgang. Before we do this, if anyone would like the car and can remove it please get in touch. We have been quoted £200 scrap value so if you can match that and take the car away please contact me. It would feel far better if the car was benefitting another classic Audi enthusiast in some way. We brought our two babies home from hospital in Wolfgang and was previously a pearl of a car. I’ll leave this post open for two weeks as we need to send Wolfgang for scrap imminently.
