Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had a stage 1 tune done on a Q5? I've got a 16 plate 190bhp and am wondering if the claimed 20ish bhp horsepower makes any difference, I'm hoping for a bit more acceleration really, not expecting a rocket. Cheers

Cheers Gareth, Went and had a look at the car, full service history by Audi Coventry and in excellent condition. The car was serviced by Audi not long after the mot mentioned and nothing was said about the steering rack, new tyres and pads were fitted along with the normal service and a brake fluid change. I had the car inspected by a mechanic who was happy with the car, bought it, drove it 250 miles home and love it. Set up all the settings, phone, music etc now just need to enjoy it.

Hi Magnet, apparently me and the dealer were talking about different cars....it has a full history. Only other thing its got 62k on and at the last mot had 60k with an advisory of steering rack with slight play at the steering wheel, is this common, easy or hard to fix? Cheers

Hi Its been a while but I'm very close to putting a deposit down on the q5 2016 s line plus auto, only thing putting me off a bit is it has only had 1 service at 15k, what do you think, garage said they would service prior to sale?

Hi, Thanks for that. At the time this was the cheapest and only affordable option. I have spoken to 3 garages recently and no one wants to the take the job on as I want to turn it back to standard before I sell it on and get a Q5, to the dealer it is once this virus is all over. Thanks again.

HI, I had a fault on my 2010 A3 2.0 tdi and ended up having the egr turned off electronically and a chip and remap done at the same time taking the car to around 170bhp, worked a treat but the dpf still clogs up on a very regular basis. Think it cost around £400 about 18 months ago.

Hi, I had a chip and remap done on a 2010 A3 2.0 tdi with 85000 miles and went from 140 bhp to around 170 bhp, what a difference, much quicker and smoother, had the egr turned off at the same time as it was faulty. Hope this helps

Just a quick Hi from a newbie. I've joined the club as a A3 owner of 6 years and its been the best car I've ever had, however its time to move on to a Q5. I'm hoping to tap into the knowledge forum members have and also like to see what people have done to improve there cars etc while also chipping here and there. Cheers folks

I am currently driving a 2010 A3 2.0 tdi which I've had for 6 years and its time for a change, I'm looking at the Q5 2.0 tdi 190bhp ULEZ compliant with the manual gearbox and I'm trying to do some research on common faults to look out for etc and would appreciate any pointers.
