  1. Water in the area under the battery

    Hi, My Audi A4 Avant (2006, 2.0 TDi) has stood for 5 months outside. (I was locked down abroad and only just got home) I came to start it and of course the battery was flat. Went to charge the battery and the area under the battery has several inches of water in there. I have removed the battery looking for a blocked drain hole, but I cannot find anything. Can anyone tell me where the drain hole is? (Fortunately all the seals for the pipes are working so no leaks into the cabin. Good old Audi engineering.) Any advice would be much appreciated. I plan to syphon the water out for now, but don't want it to fill up again. Many thanks, Nigel
