  1. Just an update , it turned out to be a short on the wiring loom , apparently modern wiring is very thin and can rub and wear out , they also replaced 3 sensors but reading between the lines it was the short , anyway problem seems to have been sorted .

Hi i've taken my Audi A3 Diesel for a problem with yellow Glow Plug warning light flashing intermittently the codes came as Exhaust Flow Sensor my mechanic said he'd reset the cars computer just to see if it was a glitch any way still came on so he went a head and fitted new sensor but unfortunately it started flashing again today , took it in and he's scratching his head said he'd look into it , is there anybody on here who's had a similar problem and could shed some light on it ? Code description " Trouble codes 5265 / ( Original trouble code : P242C00) Exhaust-Gas Temperature Sensor 3 (Bank 1) Cheers Dave
