I have a 2018 A& 50TDI Quattro, new shape with full digital dash. It has been largely trouble free and has now done 16,000 miles since bought new. The Sat Nav is nowhere near as god as in my previous A5. Firstly, the UK maps will not accept some addresses that were no problem to the A5. It fairly often says the road exists but not the house number. Other times it can't find the road ! I suspect that the maps used on this car are not from the same supplier as in the MMI system in the A5 and are not as good. This could apply to only the UK map. But by far the biggest problem is that it frequently deletes all my saved addresses, including Home and Business addresses. This first happened after a warranty job and software update but afterwards it has been deleting them all on its own. My excellent dealer's service Manager (Poole, Dorset), has found that this is a known fault but as of now Audi don't have a cure for it. It's particularly annoying because it deleted over fifty addresses in Germany and Austria which I needed to retain for future use. Has anyone else had these problems ?
