I think if wire is abrupt, than diagnostics would show error ? am i right or not ?

Hi, about two years ago, the airbag light popped out of nowhere. I checked the car through diagnostics (VCDS, BOSH) and it does not show any airbag error. Yesterday was reflashed SW to airbag module but light still shine without eny errors. Do you have any ideas what might cause the airbag warning light?
