1994 Audi 100 Quattro 2.8E engine cuts out in high heat
Hi everyone, I have a 1994 2.8E Audi 100 Quattro saloon with ~130k miles on the clock. It's developed a problem with the engine cutting out if driven above ~65mph on days warmer than 27 Celsius. Neither the garage or main dealer have been able to find any fault. One mechanic speculated that the fuel pump might be at fault, but the problem has persisted after replacing it. Has anyone experienced this with a similar model? Thanks! Tom

Can't find an interior blower for my 1994 Quattro 100 2.8E
Hallo everyone, just wanted to say that I did finally track down a replacement fan in Lithuania! Wouldn't ship to the UK for some reason, so I got it sent on to a friend in France who then brought it over - and now I have noise-free air again :) Thanks for your interest tips.

Can't find an interior blower for my 1994 Quattro 100 2.8E
Thanks for the tips Gareth - I'll take a look. Here are some more photos of the blower Dave, let me know if any other angles would help. Unfortunately I think the one you found wouldn't fit - if you can see it has the electrical connection in the middle of the fan, whereas on my one the socket is off to the side.

Can't find an interior blower for my 1994 Quattro 100 2.8E
Hi everyone, I've got a lovely old Audi 100 Quattro 2.8E from 1994. Sadly the bearings have gone in the interior blower, leading to horrible noises any time I try to use the climate control. I tried to source a replacement part, but the one that was sent has a different mounting to what's in my car. I can see one number on the old blower, but web searches don't seem to find anything for it: 3135102138 I ordered one of these from autodoc.co.uk: 2669I0008 RIDEX Interior Blower for vehicles with/without air conditioning, for left-hand drive vehicles for AUDI 100, A6 | AUTODOC price and review but it doesn't fit - on my original blower (see "old fan side" and "old fan back") the electrical connection is off to one side, whereas on the RIDEX one I was sent it's in the centre (see "ridex fan"). Does anyone have any ideas about how to track down the correct model? I've tried using OEM searches such as Blower Motor & Fan for 1994 Audi 100 Quattro | OEM Parts Online - that suggests I should be looking for part 4A0-959-101-A - but that seems to take me to things similar to the RIDEX blower that doesn't fit. Any clues welcome... Tom
