  1. Front lower track control arm

    I have an A6 Avant Sport 1.9tdi 2002. I am replacing the front suspension arms. All went well until I found that the front lower track control arms I have been sent have a ball pin with 20mm at small end of taper, whereas mine needs 16mm. Every other dimension of the arm & bushes seems identical. My old arm carries the Audi part number 4B0407155 and that seems to be a very elusive part number. However there are plenty of sources for arms with 16mm pins although the OEM part numbers they quote don't end in 5. What is the best solution -- I don't want to spend a fortune on an 18 year old car!! Thanks, Judsonig
