    Hi Gareth, I’m like you with originality. I was interested to under if there were any performances or potential engine issues with leaving the cone on. if not then I’ll probably leave it on till the weather improves any swap it out for the factory air box. Cheers.

    Just bought a 2005 A4 1.8T Cabriolet as a weekend cruiser in anticipation of hot 2021 summers. The previous owner has fitted a cone air intake but provided the original air box. Would you suggest leaving it installed or reinstalling the original air box and filter? Thanks...
