  1. Thanks for the reply.I’ve heard that it’s more likely on the the petrol engines rather than the diesels.I was quoted £250 supply and labour charge.I started having trouble with this when a mechanic replaced the timing belt and water pump then 3 days later the engine was losing power so I took it back to the garage they said it was a faulty water pump which was causing the timing belt to slip and so cause damage to the engine and that Audi would need to look at it(They said there was nothing wrong with the water pump and the car was fine)so the mechanic has had to take the hit and replace it with a new belt, water pump and rockers. Then a few days after that I’m told the turbo actuator is broke, seems to much of a coincidence. Can you tell me does that actuator need to be removed for any of the above work to be done?Look forward to a reply?
  2. Hi I’m not mechanically minded so can anybody help me with this question?I’ve got a 2014 A3 2.0 tdi ,can anybody tell me if they’ve had to replace the turbo actuator(I believe it sits at the back of the engine) and if it’s a big job? cherrs Dav1872
