  1. The problem is that you'll also need the ballasts, levelling kit, headlight cleaners and so on as you can't just replace halogen for xenon in the eyes of the law. I think that the last time someone did the maths on this kind of conversion it would cost in the region of £2000 to buy the components (for an A3), so it's not really worth it if you want to stay legal I'm afraid. If you don't care about that, it's the same headlights afaik, as the car uses the levelling function to change between RHD and LHD light pattern (it can be changed using VCDS)
