  1. Hi All, bought a 2.0 40TDI A7 my2020 in Aug last year. The Dealer, after first service says it has a RMS leak. Anyone had this issue. Dealer won't provide evidence of what checks they done. Wondering if its a scam. 12month warranty with sale but they say it doesn't cover leaks, despite me saying the seal is a component of either or both the engine and transmission which are warranty covered. Not a common fault from what I see. Ps Dealer had to reimburse me €2k and give two free services, after I bought the car due to a misadvertised description. So are they looking to recoup this? Its a main dealer in north west Ireland. And they quote €2300 to repair RMS.

  7. Thanks guys. Nice to hear others views. I've emailled asking for a meeting, as its documented rather than a phone call to dealer. Ill update in time
  8. Some cars come without it some people remove it and also some add it- thers so many Golf's out there with fake kits and badges. I trusted the main dealer, asked the questions and believed the answer. The diff isnt visible on these unless on a ramp or if you lay under them on a wet floor
  9. Noted and will do, sorry haven't used boards in a while

  11. Hi all would love some help/advice. I recently bought a 2020 A7. It was from a reputable main dealer with multiple branches. They also have other brand dealerships merc,vw,seat etc - very large player in the car market. The car was advertised on numerous car sales sites, their own website and I assume Audis, as well as on socials. In all ads it was listed as a Quattro model. I asked both salespeople if it was quattro both said yes. I'm no expert but it did have 21inch audi sport quattro wheels and being a well established dealer network I took them for their word. It has since transpired this is a FWD I had this confirmed by Audi themselves by email. My question is- what should I expect from the dealer. It was priced about 4k above other ones with higher mileage. I plan to contact them with screenshots and recordings of their ads and videos. Is it a case for the advertising standards authority to step in? Would love some advice Thanks Nmcc
