  1. Hi All Having issues with my side mirrors, the passenger side only unfolds once you rotate the side door panel knob to close and then open position. I've been having this issue for sometime now but this only occurs in colder weather conditions. And now the driver's side mirror doesn't unfold at all, I don't want to force the housing with my hands as I might damage it, any ideas please?
  2. Apparently you touch the sensor pad on the door handle and it opens the door, the boot you slide you foot underneath the bumper and it opens the boot. I was told it would've been a £2.5K upgrade from the factory!!
  3. I have 3.0TDi (Not Quattro) Fully loaded apart from not parking itself, didn't come with Door handle sensors or boot sensor - And Night Vision Assistant
  4. Not sure what the Lane Change Assist is about, I have Lane Assist which keeps you in the lane as long as there is 2 white lines either side. Also intrigued what the Parking Assistance involves - Does it park the car for you? & the Storage Pack ? Big shame about no folding mirrors that's unheard of! hope they are heated? My A7 came with 1 Audi Service which I used up @ Audi Leicester and they recommended a 2 year Oil Change (Flexible) depending on mileage 18,500 or 2 years
  5. Because of the simplicity of driving, i.e. the one pedal control makes life so much easier. The ride is very smooth on local roads and on the motorway it seems to feel light weight, nothing like the A7 which hugs the road. Also the technology on the Tesla is very advanced, the lane assist literally sticks to the middle of the road, unlike the A7 which tends to drift side to side between the white lines. Space wise it is very roomy, generous boot and the front boot or frunk can fit a carry on case with ease.
  6. Hi I can vouch on the Telsa Model Y been driving the dual motor long range for 3 years, absolutely lovely to drive, the power is ridiculous in standard, the chill mode is more than enough, no issues what so ever in 3 years of driving I only changed the set of tyres!! Only thing I found was comparing to my A7 the build quality seemed tinny in places. Just got my A7 back from a having the Coolant Change Over valve, Water Pump, etc at £1800 mind you that’s including £400 for TRW discs & pads plus MOT which passed with no issues!
  7. Yes up to the max level then drops down past min but I tend to top it up before the warning light appears.
  8. Coolant warning comes up maybe 3 months possibly 2-2.5K miles
  9. Just had a pressure test done and the end result is the change over valve inside the ‘V’ of the engine needs replacing. Apparently it’s a big job where most parts of the engine needs to be dismantled. Not been given a quote yet but looking in the region of £1000. The question is that the coolant leak isn’t so surveyor, therefore leaving it for the time being will the problem get worse? Will it cause further damage if its not resolved straight away? Thanks in advance NJP10
  10. Sorry to say but mine definitely doesn’t sound like that!! Have you shown it to a mechanic?
  11. Well saying that the Mrs has been driving it more often these days!!! still I’d expect any of the other speakers to pop but the same one gone again, SODS LAW!!
  12. Hi Steve, I already asked that question when I got the last worker fitted by my local In Car Entertainment place they said it would be very difficult as there isn’t much back space for certain speakers to be housed in that space so was told to re-fit the original Audi spec.
  13. Just this week I’ve noticed yet again the passenger side front door speaker sounds muffled and distorted. The same thing occurred in July 2021 so I replaced it with the genuine Audi speaker and now it’s gone again!! Anyone else had this issue or is it just my bad luck!!
  14. Yes that fully opens and closes everything including the sunroof
  15. Hi thanks for your reply, the tragic thing is not so long ago I’ve had the battery replaced supplied from main dealer as well!!
  16. Hi All, Ive noticed recently that when I start the car the drivers side door mirror folds but the passenger side remains folded. Only when I manually turn the turn mirror knob to fold and then unfold then both unfold together. When you remotely arm the car both mirrors fold no problem. Any idea’s??

Mine only does it on the motorway only, whilst it’s up when you slow down it bleeps with the rear spoiler fault. Then it stays up until you park up and shut the car off completely and only then you have to press the button to drop it down, it won’t go down automatically.

I didn’t reset the MMI when the tyres were fitted but I always reset it after checking the tyre pressure. Well that resolved this issue, I have a second issue with regards to my rear spoiler fault, do I start a new topic or carry on with this thread?

Hi Sid2020, No it doesn’t display the PSi readings therefore it must be a passive system. A couple of months ago I had the new tyres fitted on the front, and the old pair went on the rear, which probably has uneven tread depth on them, therefore causing the TPMS fault to occur just on high speed travels, that makes sense now hopefully 🤞🏽

No idea doesn’t indicate, I’ll get it on a diagnostic machine and see what it comes up with 👍🏽 Hi Sid2020, No it doesn’t display the PSi readings therefore it must be a passive system. Hi Steve thanks for getting back to me, I was thinking that also, but it’s baffling why it only goes off on the motorways never on the roads🤔

Hi Guys I’ve been having the TPMS warning light pop up only on the motorways never on local driving and not always straight away, it always seems to be at half way point of the journey. When I do check the tyre pressure at the service station they seem to be fine maybe 1psi out but that’s probably due to different machines being calibrated I assume. The strange thing is I never seem to get the fault message on the return journey! I always check the pressure before leaving maybe the night before or on the day.
  24. Not sure if the new battery needed a good charge but I’ve had no issues with the spoiler error code or the spoiler not coming down after you stop driving. My mechanic did say at the time the next thing to look at was the sensor for the spoiler.
  25. Hi, since I had the battery replaced it seems to be working fine. Automatically goes up after 70+ mph
