  1. Hi Gareth. The clutch master cylinder was changed due to the clutch pedal hitting the floor and not coming up. The master cylinder had a crack in it and was squirting oil. That part of the car seems fine its just the rattling noise when I press the acceleration pedal that concerns me. The mechanic said its nothing to worry about and I have a noisy engine? I've never noticed the noise to be thst loud before? It's more of a rattling noise than anything else. Thanks.
  2. Yes it was definitely the clutch master cylinder. It was still the original audi one on the car. It recently had a new clutch and definitely.
  3. I have an audi a3 1.6 tdi 2010. Noticed when I accelerate I can hear a slight clunking noise? This is weird because it never did it before I had the clutch master cylinder changed. The mechanic said that I have a noisy engine and shouldn't worry about? Can anyone help please?
