Hey man! I also have this fault and have tried an OBD2 meter and had no luck. Did you manage to solve this in a way that didn't break the bank? I have just made a post on this too. I seen you can buy multiple diagnostics tools/scanners but they seem quite expensive just to clear a fault... the process to do this is ridiculously easy and simple given the correct tools butcost so much!
  2. Hi so I recently bought an Audi from a garage 2 hours away from my home. The car has been thru its MOT and service in July but has came up with the 'Inspection Due' notification on the dash. I called the garage and they have assured me all services have been done and I have proof of this also. I purchased an OBD2 meter off amazon and had no luck with it to clear this fault! I have seen you can do it with one of the SNAP-ON diagnostic tools but they seem quite expensive and I don't really want to fork out to buy this JUST to clear a fault!! Has anyone done this themselves or know a tool fairly cheap to do so.... also do I have any other options would a local dealer do this? If anyone has advice this would be very helpful. Cheers.
