  1. Hi, any one ever used one of these Germid rear view mirrors with a reversing camera window within it, it is supposed to replace the original, and with some wiring give you a reversing camera totally independent of your MMI, it looks convincing but would like to know more before buying, cost is £128, the mirror replacement looks identical to the original on the advert and is made specifically for Audi and is not the clip on once.To retrofit the MMI unit to have a reversing camera included is £700 or over, (unless you know better) hope someone can help 👍🏼
  2. Hi Carm, yes I’ve also looked at the ebay once, but if you look on YouTube they say stay away from the ebay offers as they need a “key” that only main dealers have, and they will charge you the same as if you would have taken the vehicle to them in the first place, this scares me as my 2013 A7 sline 3.0 diesel Quatro is in excellent condition, except for the older Satnav, I will probably go and do it with a main dealer I'm not guided by someone that knows of a good place for me to take it, I’m based around the Wirral / Liverpool area, but thank you for that post Carm, just not confident enough to chance the ebay route on my own ☹️👍🏼
  3. Hi all, Im new at this, but my question is, are there some IT guys out there that will upgrade my satnav for less than a Audi main dealer, also interested in retrofit reversing camera??
