  1. Hi all, I have a 2014 Audi q7. I noticed a leak a leak so decided to take the car to Audi, they are saying the leak is from the upper sump but they recommend taking the engine out to replace the seal. Are they being serious? I am thinking if the engine is coming out then might as well replace all seals for once but the money involved via audi is ridiculous so can anyone provide a recommendation in the UK where they will do a good job at an acceptable price? I live in midlanda but happy to travel. Thanks in advance 🙂

Anyone able to suggest how to get the additional extras without paying high prices at audi dealership? Im looking at getting the folding mirrors and auto boot close. Also if any recommendations for mood lighting installation?

Hi Stevey, Yes it is where the engine connects with the gearbox. I have a 6 months gold warranty with warrantywise so hoping they will cover this work if it is the crank seal. If anything i will get a full report after the check from audi to confirm where the cause is. Then make a decision after speaking to warranty bods. Also do you have any contacts that have done this sort of work at a reasonable price incase i end up getting fobbed off?
  5. Hi all, i have just bought an audi q7 3 weeks ago and absolutely love the car. But i have noticed a minor leak at the bottom which isnt dripping but i can see it gather up a little bit. I took it to audi specialist and they said it is the main seal that is leaking and directed me to take it to main audi dealer. Can you guys please share your thoughts on this matter? Is this a common issue? Ive read somewhere that it normally happens around 100k. I have a 2013 q7 with 89k on the clock. Thanks in advance for your helpful responses.
