Alright Steve, I got the car in Aug 2021 and no idea when the oil was changed, pretty sure the dealership said in the Audi manual it doesn't not need to be changed so probably never. I have no idea what it could be, could the abnormal sound be as easy as a mount ? I have been told it possibly could be internal and needing a full replacement, find out for sure on the 20th Jan.

Hello all, My Audi A5 makes a clanking/scraping sound when it mainly downshifts from 7th gear to 6th. Does anyone know the problem and a rough price etc. ?

Alright all, hope everything is grand, unfortunately I cant say that, I own and Audi A5 2L Quattro 2014 black edition, I've recently bought this about 2 months ago and I've only started to drive without music sometimes, when I am going over 50mph the car develops a kind of clacking, clunking, scraping sound, I really have no idea how to describe it, It is very intermittent and can be louder one time than the other, I have a video of it but I'm unsure of how to upload or if I even can as I'm new. Also another problem, the coolant tank was just before the max level and now it has came way above the max level marker. any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!
