  1. was curious if there is a recommended shop manual I can purchase? looking for the most comprehensive brand. Also, is there a designation code for RHD vehicles when I query the web etc? thanks in advance
  2. Thanks for the reply, I think you are correct, it also explains the ample diagrams and images of the saloon but zero images of the estate. My next ask is do you know a resource for the parts listing for the underbody coverings? The type with expandable diagrams and part numbers. ( I am new to the brand, and the UK so I have had some issues with searching certain terms and finding reliable resources). I am trying to find the Part numbers for the center and left rear underbody covers is why I ask
  3. Hi all I have been trying to find a reference image of the full underbody of the A4 Avant B9. I seem to only find the saloon/sedan? can anyone point me in the right direction on this. thanks
  4. If anyone has a single passenger foot rest 4E4864419A 8A they are willing to sell, or if anyone knows where I can find one to buy in the UK. Willing to pay ANY reasonable amount due to urgency. Or if you have a lead on another OEM supplier as I know BMW and MB also made/make them in quantity. Urgently needed for a disabled passenger who can not sit in the car with feet flat and too tall to move seat forward to use the incline in footwell. thanks in advance for any replies/help
  5. wow, imagine if they applied the same work ethic and inginiuity to legitimate enterprise! I think the issue is your pouch type. the fold-over type doesnt provide enough protection for targeted attacks like the one you mentioned. for example if someone wants to capture your key codes and they see you using a folding RF pouch they just might decide to follow you on foot and wait to get close enough to exploit the pouch. Honestly, i dont think its a far off possibility either these days. best option is use a pouch designed for phones. I use a Mission Darkness windowless pouch. you roll the top and it secures with velcro. i also keep other items in it so its convenient. option 2 is get a sturdy black rubberband. use it to secure the flap on the fold-over flap to minimize opening. also its good practice to replace the pouch if the RF fabric inside starts to wear down from the fob going in and out.
  6. what type of pouch are you using? a fold over style or the type that rolls and secures with velcro? also keep in mind some RF pouches that are specific for key fobs allow transmission at very close distances for exactly that reason. I think a pouch with 2 layers allows transmission if you are touching the car, but will stop a device attempting to capture the freq. 3 layer pouches block it competely even if its not sealed correctly.
  7. we found a 2019 A4 Avant TDI Sline with 22kmiles in Grey metallic. Under the Audi Approved scheme with 16 months remaining on factory warranty. It wasnt part of our original options as the car hadnt left the certification process for resale the day we were at the Audi dealer. Our first used car and first Audi so fingers crossed. thanks again for the reply and input.
  8. New to the Audi brand and have a few important questions I was hoping to get advice here: looking to buy a 2019 A4 Avant 35TFSI/SLine/Manual/petrol/11,000miles/ at an Audi Retailer. or 2018 A4 Avant AllRoad Quatro/prestige Trim Line/Automatic/3L/TDI/23,000miles what are the most critical items i should look for or request from the dealer? which do you recommend? all help and guidance very appreciated as i am not familiar with the brand or models at all. thanks for any help
