Hi stevey. Had it checked out at a garage today and they have said it’s a faulty EGR valve so they are going to fit new one tomorrow so hopefully it cures the problem. thanks paul

Yip done all that when EGR was changed wasn’t to bad to be honest. Think the next idea would be to check for any vacuum leaks, have you had any known issues with a vacuum leak at certain places as it could be a good point to start where people have had issues before. Thanks paul

Hi. Replaced egr valve after getting engine management light on and fault code p040100 coming up on code reader. After changing egr reset code and engine management light went out then came back on after few days.Plugged code reader in and fault code p040100 was back up. After a bit of research online replaced the dpf sensor as heard this could cause the fault code. Again reset the code and was fine for couple days but fault code is back again and engine management light is back on.Anyone got any ideas. Thanks Paul
