  1. Audi want £777 for fitting rear discs and pads and £854 which is expensive I think audi parts are about £550 for rears and the same on the front so just doing a bit of digging at the minute.
  2. Yeah the spring mounts took about 2.5 hours to do both sides, just dropped the shock bottom bolt off and used a set of spring compressor's and a little help from a bottle jack and extension tube pushing off the top shock mount pushing the to push the suspension down wards. I have been looking getting brakes from LLL parts have anyone used them ?
  3. I was checking out my rear brakes yesterday after replacing my A6’s rear spring mount that had the typical corrosions. My cars done 32k and are down to about 4mm , discs are lipped too so maybe their ready for changing Funny enough it was reading your post on Audi sport forum about changing corroded rear spring mounts that made my mind up about doing it myself instead of paying Audi’s £320
  4. Hi just wondering what mileage people are going before having to go and change discs and pads ?
  5. Part no 4K08859956PS They have it at the £104.45 on LLL part site
  6. armrest tray clip position , use trim tool to pull upwards being very careful not to break clip holes cover removed after removing cover i realized that if you are never going to refit this cover you could mark out screw hole fitting positions and drill though the cover, this way you may not damage the tray clips 2 holes drilled and now you can gain access straight on top of the fixing screws, remove screws and slide forward bottom view of cover screw small outer screws in half way then slide in the drinks holder , install the 2 larger screws in the middle of the drinks holder and cover with the rubber mats , tightened the small outer screws and fit rubber plugs , then your finished
  7. When I picked up and my A6 Black edition mine was the same ! it’s a piece of cake to install ,
  8. Waxoyl’s a brilliant idea Stevey 👍 think I’m going to try and change them first then apply the waxoyl
  9. Never had a issue with my 2017 A5 and my father in law has that now , does seem very poor for an Audi just turned 4 year old to have issues like this already, cars only done 28k ! I have found a guy with YouTube that found the same problem when changing his spring on a A4 funny enough
  10. Hi so my car has just turned 4 years old and it’s been to Audi for its 2nd MOT. It passed but had an advisory for Offside Rear Lower Coil spring mounting corroded but not seriously weakened! They want £320 to change it ! £18 part which is a rubber mount with a aluminium strengthening plate mounded into it that corrodes! Great idea not . So has anyone else had any issues yet?
  11. I’m on Audi connect but it only ever update the region u live in not the rest of the map area’s
  12. Have you tried going into system update then search for updates, then inserting the SD card, mine come up error on the first time i did it with the SD card already inserted but worked when i did it this way round
  13. Hi Ian mine has a sub woofer in the middle of the wheel
  14. just downloading the map update now so i see how it goes ! think last time i did it i use a 64GB card as the 32GB was just a bit too small
  15. Also when u remove the black foam to install the spare wheel you can still keep the the air compressor and bottle of repair gel under the bracket which holds down the spare wheel / sub speaker
  16. It’s attached to the left hand side mate
  17. Hi brought mine last year for the dealership, did u order the mounting bracket?
  18. Hi I had the the same issue with mine A6 intermittently on my rear door too , also got a central locking fault malfunction come up on the dash sometimes , I did some digging on the US forums and found it was a known issue with some A6's . Mine would also show it was locked but when checking the rear door intermittently I would find it would be unlocked , Any way it went into the dealers 3 times before they changed the rear door lock ,
  19. Has ur car had the recall 42L1 for rear suspension nuts ? And if so how what date was it carried out ? only asking because I’ve had wheel alignment issues which I ended up with a complaint with Audi Uk
