  1. Just looked at mine and it’s 4 1/2 J
  2. Sorry to hear that mate Here’s a few pics of mine in my boot
  3. Got the receipt from the jack and bracket but the price is from 2022 when I brought them ! Just remember to order the jack handle as it didn’t come with the jack
  4. I’ve had a all in service plan for the last four years , used it a couple of times on warranty with rear door locks that can go faulty and a brake pressure sensor but the rest I’ve done myself , rear spring mounts Audi wanted £600 and it cost my £50 and and afternoon , brake’s also all round
  5. I got may spare from the wheel shop and which was genuine looking at the part number the brought the jack from the dealer
  6. Oh and my mileage is 35k if anyone wanted to know ! The rears I could have left for another 5k but just did them anyway
  7. Hi Ended up doing disc’s the pads front and rear’s on my A6 C8 last month as I didn’t want to be doing them over winter before the MOT in March. Managed the get genuine front discs for £200 the pair but had to get the rears from the dealer , replaced all the caliper bolts too, reused the wear sensors too as the front were just about to touch but hadn’t so bonus saving a few more bucks in the end saved about £1000 doing the myself and not the dealer below a pic of the front pads with wear sensor , in my opinion it wasn’t worth waiting a few more months and working in the cold weather
  8. I got a spare wheel for the wheel shop it as about £160 and genuine Audi part
  9. Ive had a couple of things go wrong with my a6 between 3 and 5 years old and the dealer fixed them under the all in service plan warranty so I’ve taken it out again I few months ago it’s a no brainer Audi Adun take a look at ur rear spring mount rubbers mine were corroded by 4 years and needed replacing great out come on ur fault and repair
  10. Thats why ended up i changed them myself wasn't going to let the stealer have anymore of my cash then have to wait all day for the car. Changing my disc's and pads at the weekend as £1050 is a joke for them to change them,
  11. I have the all in warranty too but Derby Audi refused saying it was wear and tear.
  12. Has anyone managed to get on the Audi map update page lately ? Trying to update maps but doesn’t seem to be able to get on the page anymore it’s like it’s been removed
  13. Have you looked into having ur DPF washed out ?
  14. In the Audi’s workshop manual they specify max 2 mm wear on the discs , that’s only 1mm each side does seem a lot !
  15. Mark you see the plastic rivets on the lower arm I had a problem removing them so I ended up replacing them ! £10 for 4 , Job took me about 2.5 to 3 hours
  16. Heads up the screwed on my spring compressors were too long so I cut them down. But I only paid £25 for them
  17. I didn’t need to do anything apart of removing the lower stock mount bolt and then use a bottle jack and a piece of tube over the bottle jack top to the stock top mount fitting bolt , using a pair of springs compresses to compress the spring evenly enough to pull out the rubber mount I’ve got to thank Spartacus for his write up . And mine s a Quattro too a
  18. Yes this is copy from the app Product details The services of Audi connect Remote & Control connect the vehicle with the smartphone. With the myAudi App, the vehicle can be accessed remotely, the last parking position and the current vehicle status can be viewed. This includes the current mileage, the next inspection and information on whether doors and windows are locked. If necessary, the vehicle can be locked and unlocked remotely. Certain optional extras can also benefit from the online connection. For example, a push notification can be sent to the smartphone when the anti-theft alarm system is triggered or the parking heater can be started via app. The package includes the following services: - Car Finder - vehicle status - Remote Lock&Unlock - remote auxiliary heating - theft alarm notification
  19. Also paid £36 for a years Audi remote service so I can check the that the cars locked and location, if the alarm goes off u get notification on ur phone app
  20. Think the brake fluid change is every 2 years after 3 years old too
  21. I’ve just taken out another All in service plan out 3 months ago just to give me peace of mind really , the last plan I claimed for both rear doors locks and also a brake servo restriction fault which would have cost me over £1000 if the dealership was charging me so in that respect the first service plan paid for itself really If urs is an auto the gearbox oil requires replacing @ 38k miles,
  22. Hi Skiduk I’ve got the same A6 model, had it 3 years now and still love it , Ive used Derby Audi for servicing which has been under Audis All in service plan. My front brakes pad are down to 70% wear and Audi have just quoted me £1050 just for front discs and pads, I’m going to do them myself and have managed to get the parts for £350 . Rear spring mount rubber’s corroding was an mot advisory when the car was 4 years old, Audi quited me £320 each side for replacing them but did them myself rubber mount were £50 , Tyres Continental x4 £860 . My A6 has had 2 faults in the it’s 5 years which were both rear door locks playing up and they were replaced and a brake servo restriction fault ! That was a little pressure switch near the servo that monitors vacuum, both fault were repaired under the all in warranty . I don’t think it’s been bad at all personally Hope this helps mate
  23. I had the brake servo restriction fault not long ago, if the codes the same as mine it’s the pressure sensor near the brake servo! mine was intermittent would go away after turning off and engine the back on ! what other people have said is if fault stays on the ABS pump then takes over braking and that it can get damaged if driven over long distances . By the looks of it in other forums it’s common fault across all Audi’s The pressure sensor is about £94 from Audi parts . Audi changed mine under the all in warranty. Hope this helps also mine seem to throw up the fault when stop start kicked in so I would switch it off straight away after starting the engine . Pressure Sensor 5Q0906207A
  24. Is it normal condensation issues around the windscreen with cold weather in the morning maybe, mine does it all the time
  25. Also check rear spring mount lower rubbers for corrosion as they is a aluminium plate inside that can start to corrode, it’s not a biggy but Audi Derby wanted £320 a side to change them ! They’re £20 each and it took me 2.5 hours to change both of them with pair of spring compressors but I’m handy with spanner’s on my driveway The A4 b9 forums will have much more detail on them as they are used on a few models. Mines a 2020 2l tfsi black edition too , I’ve paid £16 for the month and also updated the sat nav maps
