Heavy rain has caused my A4 B7 cabrio to do strange things I.e. open drivers door instrument shows passengers door open. Driving panel shows mpg 154 Boot unlocks whilst driving Window controls not working Daren't try the roof controls! No fuses have blown Can it be the ECU is wet? If so where is it?

I have just changed the coolant flange on my B7 1.8t BFB. Now when starting very high idle speed and then misfiring. When switched off sounds as if catalyst has overheated. Loud clicking sounds as it cools. Can't find any loose or missed connections. Anyone got any ideas?

I have done the suggested checks and cleaned the MAF with contact cleaner. Now runs more smoothly but still showing same error. This happens miles after the engine reaches operating temperature. I haven't found any leaking air pipes so far. Is there anything that is temperature sensitive?

My a4 has started throwing too lean error Has got worse over time, now getting dead patches as I accelerate until turbo cuts in. Has anyone an idea what to check for?
