It's all about getting the ends in first, or just getting a method that works best for you.
Unless your taking them off every day , just do the best you can .

You can find me on ASN aswell , been there for a fair few years now.

I did wonder whether the previous owner had just opted for a bumper with PDC and headlamp wash, maybe it was a good deal.
Aftermarket bumpers are a real nightmare fitment wise on B7's they are just poorly made, well a lot are but there are a few decent ones out there .

19" oem lemans alloys look really good on cabs.
-
Why restrict yourself to OEM alloys, lots of options out there that look great on cabs.

on an 8j with ET39 you will have no probs.
-
Yes , no probs as you moving the offset out board , the lower the number the further out the rim moves.

I do like a nice painted caliper but I feel the colouring suits the alloy calipers such as brembo etc .
The plain metal ones allways look hand painted for some reason even when done well, alloy ones being smoother and more integral just carry off colour coding so much better.

The 2.0tfsi quattro's and 2wd variants have different front sections so you need either a custom setup or model specific .
Miltek do them but as with most they are not cheap.

A lot of owners debadge there B7's but also it there was an option of being debaged from the factory, mine was so i only had s-line on the rear door trims, which i took off aswell.
There is a link on the interwebby that shows the correct position for all the badges, I'll see if it still works

Factory fitment will be ET43 8J whether it's lemans or ronals.

That aftermarket bumper has Headlamp wash which implies the car had headlamp wash from the factory , which means it already has xenon's.
Unless the previous owner went all the faff to fit headlamp lamp into that bumper which seems a bit strange for halogens, xenon's were only available from the factory with headlamp wash.

Puddle lights and footwell lights if fitted should come on as soon as a door is opened whether its day or night .

S4/rs4 grill
in Audi A4 (B7) Forum
Posted
The S4 uses the same size and fitting grill as the Rs4 and S-line A4's .
Non s-line bumper and the DTM have a shallow grille which wont fit the s-line bumper found on A4's with the s-line kit and s4 has the s-line bumper as standard , rs4 has a specific bumper but uses the same size format as s4/a4 s-line versions.
So you will need either a genuine RS4 grill or another s4 grille , S4 grill has dual vertical bars whereas s-line just has single vertical bars.
Rs4 is mesh.
You will really struggle to find anything suitable in an aftermarket format for the s-line size grilles, and the few that are around are rubbish.
best going with a used or new Rs4 mesh grille but be prepared to pay serious prices for either.
