Hi, sorry it’s been so long letting you know. I had too much fuel in the car and had to use it before putting the cataclean in. I have now used the cataclean and the difference is quite remarkable. Much smoother at idle and mpg is better too. Good advice thanks. I intend to use a bottle about every 3 months. Cheers.

I guess there are so many things that can happen to a modern car aren’t there. First thing I’ll do is put some Cataclean in and see if that helps. Cheers.

Thanks for your reply jdragon. The car has done 128000 miles so quite a lot, but full service history. My driving is motorway/urban mix. But to reiterate, the car drives perfectly, and responds to throttle inputs very well.

Hi everyone, my A4 (B9) tdi ultra seems to be a bit lumpy at idle. Runs like a dream whilst driving but at idle it rumbles like a tractor and the gear lever shakes. Any ideas?
