  1. Hi, This is my first post here and I really need some help please! I bought an Audi Q3 Black Edition 2018 plate in the UK last year and have moved to Germany as part of my job for 2 years and German law states that I need to register the car in Germany. Part of this registration process involves having a German "MOT" and one of the items flagged up was the direction of the head lights. These need to be altered from UK left side of the road driving to EU right hand side of the road driving. I visited a local Audi dealership in Germany and they were able to mechanically re-position the lights but this brought up a dashboard error so they returned it to UK standard (they said if they left them like that it would also be a MOT failure). They also can't seem to re-programme the car to change the headlight orientation to EU roads as this function seems to be blocked by a code. They spoke to some sort of Audi Technical department and the only suggestion they had was to purchase EU lights (at a cost of 5000 Euros) and swap them with the currently installed UK lights. However, they did not recommend doing this as they could not guarantee that the car's software would agree with this different part. Has anyone ever dealt with this issue before? I find it extremely hard to believe that these lights cannot just be adjusted (mechanically or through software) and that be job done considering the age of the car. Any help or advice you could provide would be so appreciated. Thank you.
